With over 30 different restaurants and bars covering more dining and drinking options than any other location in Beijing, we've looked to create a thoroughly international menu by bringing together both local and international flavours, ensuring you don't have to go far to jump between a variety of cuisines.

Village South

Whether you're simply recharging the batteries between stores, taking the family out, or eating with old friends, we aim to offer a selection for any taste or occasion, within a modern and vibrant environment. Village South is home to a host of international menus, from authentic Spanish tapas, traditional Vietnamese cuisine, contemporary Chinese or heart warming American dishes, it's simply a question of what you feel like eating.

Village North

Keeping in theme with the more luxurious brands on offer in Village North, stepping out here to eat is an entirely different culinary experience. Whilst not matching the number of eateries available in Village South, the selection intends to provide what you need, when you want it. Here is romantic western food from Europe & America, barbecue from Japan & Korea, plus AH YAT ABALONE from Hong Kong, all available for your taste. During the day our options focus on quickly prepared bites, freshly pulped smoothies, and just ground coffee, all to keep you and your companions on the go. When the evening comes however, you can expect the very best in contemporary cuisine and modern dining, with calm surroundings adding a touch of sophistication to the evening out.

At the same time, be sure to check out options available at The Opposite House too. Located at the south end of Village North's siheyuan courtyard, it has a trio of gourmet bistro restaurants on offer to all. You can order from the Mediterranean tastes of Sureño to the North Asian inspired tones of Bei, 24 hours services provided from Village Café and will satisfy all your tastes. And afterwards, why not extend the night a little longer with cocktails at Mesh or enjoy the music at Punk?

In fact take a look at everything we offer right now, by clicking here.

Each month our team at the Village will pick out three nearby restaurants here in Sanlitun that we feel warrant your special attention. So if you're not sure where to eat out this week, why not check them out?

Blue Frog

Blue Frog's Montana burger towers high above the competition with two chunky onion rings stacked atop a thick, grilled beef patty, cheddar cheese, bacon and BBQ sauce (RMB80). It's a challenge to finish one of these entirely by yourself but it's worth every bite.
Blue Frog, S4-30, Sanlitun Village,
010-6417 4030. Open 10:00-02:00 daily.

Village Café

Sinking your teeth into Village Café's thick, juicy grilled Portobello mushroom burger with avocado spread (RMB178) is both succulent and satisfying - and not just for the veggies. A lighter burger option, ideal for a lunch time feed.
Village Café, 1/F, The Opposite House, 11 Sanlitun Bei Lu,
010-6410 5210. Open 06:30-23:00 daily.

Chaodian

With great views looking over Sanlitun Bar Street, contemporary décor and casual Hong Kong cuisine, Chao Dian brings yet another lively dim sum dining experience to the Village.
An essential remedy to the cold outdoors is a pot of herbal tea and Chao Dian has an impressive selection. We recommend a large pot of ginseng and oolong tea (RMB75) to help fight off the flu. Fans of the more traditional dishes will be pleased to find on the first page of the menu chicken gizzard (RMB28) and ducks head and tripe. While those with a more western palate will find relief in the familiar list of dim sum delicacies. The sizzling beef with needle mushrooms  RMB55) is slightly sweet and serves enough for a small army, so be ready to dabao your meal. There are plenty of desserts but don't miss the marshmallow shaped rabbits, sprinkled with coconut flakes.
Chaodian, S6-32, Sanlitun Village,
010-6413 2998. Open 10.00-22:00 daily.
